INTRO-TO-ENTREPRENEURSHIP program for Barrie's youth!
We are thrilled to share that The YOU Power Project has been selected as a recipient of the Bright Futures Barrie grant! 🎉 This support enables us to launch Empowering Barrie Youth: Foundations for Future Entrepreneurs — a dynamic summer workshop series designed to equip Barrie youth (ages 10–18) with entrepreneurial skills, confidence, and tools to build brighter futures.
At its core, this partnership is about creating opportunity. With virtual delivery designed for accessibility, this pilot program offers structured workshops that guide youth through goal-setting, business ideation, financial literacy, and launching their own purpose-driven ideas.
We are incredibly proud to align with Bright Futures Barrie’s commitment to strengthening community bonds, supporting at-risk youth, and delivering meaningful, pro-social programming. Together, we’re building momentum toward a stronger, more resilient Barrie — one empowered young changemaker at a time.

Open to students ages 10-18 as of July 1, 2025 and residing within the City of Barrie. Must have parental permission. Entrance is not guaranteed. Space is limited.Â
